Decor wise I prefer the new location in midtown, but the burgers are great at both. The service has always been super friendly. My husband prefers Johnnies, and is more of meat lover then I am but when I crave a good juicy burger and I'm not concerned with price Irma's is the only thing on my mind. I prefer my burger medium to medium rare and I'm not sure if the "organic" no name makes a difference other then the idea that I feel like the cow I'm eating led a happier life then the cheaper cow and that makes me feel better about eating her. Whichever meat I choose my burger is always totally tasty. The onion rings and fries are good but not as memorable as the main course, I once made the mistake of ordering a side salad and it really just looked like I was given extra sides for my burger that cost me about 2.00 extra. I wish they offered sweet potato fries that would be perfection! I took my family there when they were visiting from San Antonio, I don't think I've ever seen my little brother finish an entire anything until he had an Irma's burger. My mother didn't complain about a single thing which should attest to there good service and flavor.

After 5 hours on the road under the blazing sun, Irma's truly hit the spot. I had the Theta with cheese and it was melt-in-your-mouth awesome. Fries were also excellent. Two big thumbs up!

I love Irma's! These burgers are sooo good. You gotta go with the No Name burger. Anyways, its good. Go here.

Stopped in here on the way from PHX to KC. Great burger (I had the Theta Burger), good fries, exceptional service from cute girls. What more could you want to break up 10 hours of driving? If I'm ever back in OKC, I will return.

Okay, so you have to get an onion burger in Oklahoma City, right? Everybody says that's their thing, and it is, so you might as well get Irma's. Atmosphere is fine, they have good service, and outdoor seating is available. They have an organic version that is a little more expensive, and a lot better tasting, so get that. Kids need to order it how they want, so consider helping them understand the difference between rare, medium, and well. The bun will be soggy regardless of how the meat is cooked, because of the slimy onions. I guess that's the way they do it in OKC.

I worked across the street for a couple of years, and I can't begin to imagine why this place is so popular. To their credit, Oklahoma City's foodies wanted to jump on the "local/organic" bandwagon, and beef seems like the natural place to do so. Yet in true Okie fashion, even grass-fed, hormone-free beef can be a bastion of mediocrity. Irma's prized No Name beef doesn't deserve one. It is the most flavorless, textureless beef this side of a Sodexho cafeteria. While the prices may seem low to visitors from the coasts, by local standards they are laughably high. Burgers come with no sides - everything costs extra. Furthermore, the place is a bit dirty and the seating quite uncomfortable - surprising as Irma's is owned by an excellent restaurant group with several upscale establishments. Like most restaurants in OKC, the service is basically nonexistent. The second star is for hand-cut french fries. However, as a rather large burger lover, I never left this place without feeling sick and wishing I had eaten somewhere - anywhere - else.

Good service, good food, fun "shack" atmosphere. I did not like that fries or any side do not come with your burger, so it got a little pricey for a burger shack. If this is the kinda burger place you like try Flat Tire Burger in Edmond, you may like it better.

Awesome burgers with a huge selection! The No Name burger was a great base to add green chilies cheese and whatever you fancy! Great fries/sides etc! Super fun building and great servers makes it a fun experience! I'll be going back as much as possible.

Irma's is a pretty good burger place. I had the "no name" burger with avocado and bacon. It's nice that they have an organic option though they could get better buns and for the $9 I paid for the burger one would imagine I would get more than 2 pickle slices. The fries were ok. Tip included, for just the burger, fries and a drink it was $17.00.

  • Mike H.

Great little burger spot. I got the "no name" which I learned is named after the free range, organic farm the cows are raised on, so go for that. The onion rings were better than average and the service was very good. Cool place worth checking out with better than average burgers.

The No Name Burger rocks here. It is one of the best burgers I have ever had. It is worth the 3 plus hour drive round trip from Tulsa to have. The fries, rings and okra all rock here as well. Serve is good, food comes out hot. I have only been to the downtown location. If you are looking for a laid back burger joint with a killer burger, this is your place.

I just ate at the classen Irma's. I had the "What you lookin' @", boy was I in for a surprise. this thing was huge and amazing all at the sametime. if you dont know what the "What you lookin' @" is, it consist of: ham, fried egg, burger pattie, bacon, and a hot link all sandwiched between two actual grilled cheese sandwiches!! so anyways the burger was monstrous and delicious. i'm sure it will be my only meal today. the waitress was nice, friendly and quick. the manager came and took my pic when i finished it so i'll be going on some wall of fame for my accomplishment haha. the manager was also nice and friendly. all and all a great place. my friends also enjoyed their burgers too.

This place is awesome. We come here for lunch every Sunday. The staff i super-friendly, especially to my 2 1/2-year-old. The burgers, wings and hot dog are amazing!

Pretty great burgers, with Oklahoma grown beef. I've had the No-Name Burger and the Firestarter, which are both delicious. Their burger buns and fries could've been better though. The service was also friendly but a little slow. If you're in a rush, get here early or expect a wait, especially if you have a larger group. Overall, a little on the pricey side for a burger + fries + tip for lunch but still yummy. Irma's is definitely one of my top picks for a burger joint in OKC.

This place was pretty hyped up on yelp and got me excited. I love a good burger and I am very critical of my burgers. This place was above average. The service and atmosphere were great for a burger place. I got my food in a reasonable amount of time (although I came during an off hour). Now I got the seemingly beloved "No-Name" burger and I have to honestly say, I was disappointed. The flavor was great, but it was awfully small. I am not exactly a heavy eater, but I definitely expect more meat for a $7 burger. The bun left a little be desired as well. If they would toast their buns I think the sandwich's texture would improve overall. Their fries looked like they were homemade and were decent, they ought to season them with something, they tasted greasy. The onion rings were good. I really appreciate restaurants that can make good ole fashioned, simple onion rings. Not over-breaded or over seasoned, but just right. This is definitely one of the better burger joints in the Oklahoma area, but it is frustrating knowing that they are just a few notches short of being outstanding.

Maybe I came on a off day. I had the "Irma Burger" with red beans. The burger was fine, but nothing special. I liked the flavour of the red beans far more. I work just down the street, so I'll probably be back at some point. I'll try one of the specialty burgers next time.

Pretty Darn good! We have passed by Irma's a few times and decided to stop in before grocery shopping at Whole Foods today. I had a burger with mushrooms, onions, swiss and mayo and my son had the California burger. We shared an order of cheesey bacon fries. As soon as I got my burger the bottom bun was soggy. I asked for a new one and it was brought to me very quickly, and made all the difference. Everything was delicious. Our server was incredibly efficient and friendly. We were very pleased with the our burger experience at Irma's!

Ok....*drool* That's my review. I can't stop ordering the Black & Bleu burger. My son always orders the frito chili cheese pie and I always have to have a couple of bites. I almost forgot. Parking can be a pain if you go when busy. Keep that in mind.

I love Irma's. Its a great place for lunch. My favorite so far is an Irma burger with cheese and a fried egg. Also the bacon cheese fries make me miss my early twenties and lack of concern for my heart. The service is great, even when they are really busy you never wait on anything for very long :)

  • Cori C.

Irma's No Name burgers are absolutely delicious. The cheese fries come in a huge basket, and the ranch dressing (I like to dip my cheese fries in ranch. Sue me.) is pretty tasty. The service is always friendly and quick. I did have one experience that wasn't so pleasant one night when I went in about 45 minutes before closing. I got a half burnt chicken fried steak, and crappy service. But that's one time out of the many, many times I've been there. I just won't go there for chicken fried steak or less than an hour before closing, anymore.

I am bewildered by any positive reviews this restaurant sees. The food was flavorless and mundane and there are many better options for a great burger nearby (S&B, Tucker's, Five Guys even!) Let me explain myself. I can set the bar high when eating at 5 star restaurants. But I evaluate burger joints on a completely different level. I LOVE a good juicy, hell let's admit it GREASY burger. And the menu for Irma's looked spot on. So where did it all go wrong? My burger looked like a pre-shaped patty. I asked if they could cook it medium rare, and they said they would (pleasantly surprising). I ordered some chili cheese fries and a slaw dog for good measure. The burger was very soft in the middle (suggesting medium rare) but it was completely grey. And I know what good fresh non-frozen meat looks like. You can identify each little grain in the ground beef. Irma's burgers are pre-shaped and frozen before cooking and it shows in the end result. I was given a few mayo packets and told to have a good meal, but I don't see how that was possible given a frozen patty with no seasoning. My chili fries were the most literal definition of the dish: Bland french fries with some really low grade chili dumped on top of it. There was a lot of moisture (read: water) so my fries were a little soupy. Once again, it needed salt. My slaw dog actually had a good taste to it. Spicy slaw and just a little sweetness. Too bad the chili on the hot dog gave off so much moisture it soaked the bun. I enjoyed a few bites of slaw but otherwise I was eating bread soaked in hot dog water. I wouldn't eat this food again for free. Especially with Tucker's and S&B a few blocks away. Don't make the mistake I did, people. Soggy hot dog bread and frozen patties are the stuff of high school cafeterias, not restaurants.

Maybe a several years ago before Tucker's, S&B, the Garage or even Five Guys this was the "Go To" burger joint but my experiences have been mediocre at best. The food was overpriced, just OK and the staff acted like they couldn't wait for me to leave. I'm glad there are more and better options so I don't have to even consider going back.

Amazingness... the firestarter on a no name. yummy! or if you are in the mood for chicken, the which came first is where it's at. Get a Frings (1/2 fries, 1/2 rings) or if you go for okra, ask for it crispy and get a side of chipotle ranch.

Once you wedge your car into a parking spot, you have earned a delicious meal! Burgers of all kinds - from your ordinary, run of the mill cheeseburger to something more exotic. You can add all kinds of toppings too. Service is fast and friendly, they're quick to refill your drink. Food comes out hot and delicious. You'll want to take a nap in your car afterwards, but that's a good thing right?

Ooohh Mylantaaa... Man oh man, my stomach had a date with Destiny... And Destiny turned out to be a meat train wreck of a sandwich, inside of a sandwich, that was inside yet another sandwich. First walking into Irma's you feel like you're about to delve into a burger experience 100 years in the making. From the uneven concrete entryway, wood paneling on the walls, old red looking but comfy booths, to the black and white pictures, or the antique kitchenette with a fresh pie collection laying out for your sweet tooth's temptation. Everything feels right, this is a genuine, bonafide, century old burger business, the food is gonna be amazing! right? Right?? RIGHT!?! Well.....turns out the building is a century old but Irma has only been flipping her meat for profit since 2003. This being said, I still had a great meal. Browsing over the menu, my eyes locked on one item, What? What is this? Oh No... I have to order this, there is no choice in the matter, for it is... Destiny. The "WHAT U LOOKIN @" burger. Or sandwich. Or meal for two. Whatever you want to classify it as, this is what it is: A hamburger patty, topped with a fried egg, which then had fried ham on top that, and then a hot link, and next cheddar, crowned with what else but bacon. Say What? Oh and by the way, all of this is not between two buns. Nope. It's towering between two grilled cheese sandwiches. Dear Lord I can feel my heart tense up, I'm still having flashbacks. Honestly though, It tasted great. Everything blended well and somehow this sandwich works. That aside, my mouth hole wasn't big enough for it, a top to bottom eating pattern will be required. Irma's won me over, without a doubt I will be back to try rest of their "normal sized" menu.

Irma's is a medium sized burger joint with a nice outdoor patio. When it's busy, parking can sometimes be a bit of an issue. Once you've had your burger though it'll be easy to see why the lunch crowd is always here.

I went to Irma's with a few friends for an early dinner one evening. They had raved about the burgers there for the longest time, so needless to say, I was excited to try it. Now, usually when someone hypes up my expectations that much, I find myself getting let down. This time it was a different story. When my burger came out, it looked like an ordinary burger. The difference between a regular burger and Irma's hit me when I bit into it. It was the patty that was really appealing to me. Although I got a simple burger with just lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles, it was probably one of the best I've had. The simplicity along with the savory patty combined to make an ultra delicious burger. The reason I'm giving Irma's a 4 is because I've had astounding burgers, and while Irma's was wonderful, I have had better. It's still one of my favorite burger shacks of all time.

Nothing Special. The bun was a little soggy and their burgers are small. I don't think it is a good value and burger joints such as Tuckers, S&B, and The Garage have surpassed Irma's.

The parking is meager, to start. It's a good thing we went during the slow period or else we may not have been able to maneuver our truck into the parking spot. The menu is pretty typical which could be good if you're not looking to try anything new. The lemonade we ordered was pretty much 90% crushed ice. It tasted pretty good but wasn't likely anything but store bought which isn't necessarily bad. ( I Did take my cup home after all) We got the bacon cheese fries to start. Pretty okay. The bacon was sparce and the fries pretty limp and soggy. Could have used more salt..and bacon. I got the patty melt and he had the No Name Chopped Steak with ocra and coleslaw. He didn't say anything about the slaw but he did point out that they fried the stem of one of the okra. This could have just been an honest mistake so I won't really hold it against them. When our waitress brought his bottle of A-1, it was empty. The texas toast? Buttered white-bread. Didn't hold up well against all the grease. The slice of tomato looked pretty fresh and ripe and so did the lettuce. The 'steak' my bf got? It was pretty much a burger patty. I guess they ground up a steak and made it into a patty? Not sure of the purpose of this or why they call it a steak. It wasn't cooked to his specifications. When we got our check, we didn't get a pen but luckily I had one in my bag. We might have left sooner if I hadn't forgotten for about five minutes that the bill was on me. Not returning to this place. We both were pretty disappointed. He actually stated that from now on, we're sticking to our usual lunch spot. The place pretty much turned him/us off of trying anything new.

The perfect burger place with all american charm! Love this location more than the Midtown one. This original location is at the corner of 63rd and Western. It really is in a shack-like building, but that's the best part. Burgers, black bean burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs etc. Options are limited. Don't pass up the fries or okra, but i suggest skipping their coleslaw (yuck). My last visit I was vegetarian at the time so went with the black bean burger with mushrooms and jalapenos. The mushrooms almost had a red wine taste to them-so good! Slathered with mustard and I was happy. Service was super quick and attentive! It's super family friendly and just a good ole burger joint. It's the kind of place the family rolls out to for Saturday lunch or where you celebrate after the kids soccer game!

The original Irma's seems in need of some TLC. We met some friends here for dinner a couple of weeks ago, and it seemed to be on the decline. We chose Irma's because we were hoping to sit on the patio. Now, I should point out that it was a touch early for patio season (mid-March), but the patio was closed. When we asked to be sure we couldn't sit out there, they told us it was dirty and in disrepair. No worries, we got a table inside. I quickly realized they did not have enough people working, our waitress was stressed and it showed. I think they kept a really small staff on, thinking it would be slow, but it was an absolutely beautiful Sunday, and the whole city had been out playing all day - it shouldn't have been surprising that it was a busy night. I ordered a bunch of sides, and they were all good. I loved my salad, the fried okra was good and the green beans were good too. Others at their table enjoyed their meals too, including a really good chocolate malt. But we waited a long time: a long time to order, to get our food, to get refills, etc. Then, we went a long time when we were basically finished eating, before we could get our server's attention. She dropped the check, but we had been hoping to order dessert. She seemed a little put out about it. I think she was just stressed, but we'd been super patient. I'll happily update if I return and it is a better experience.

I'm surprised that I've never written a review for Irma's because I have eaten at Irma's many times over the last five years. Unfortunately, I've never come to Irma's expecting an outstanding meal. I love that they have a black bean burger and their sides are fried so of course they're tasty, but I just always wish there was more to Irma's. They offer a keep it local discount and the service is decent so it is a great local business to support. The last time I was here, however, the service was way slower than it should have been for 3 p.m. when there were only a few other people dining at the time. Of course, my goal of leaving with a full stomach was accomplished and you can't ever go wrong with fried okra. I will undoubtedly eat at Irma's again, but I would definitely not list it as one of my favorite burger joints in OKC.

Tried this place today, maybe since I am from Southern California and we have unreal hamburger places, I have a distorted sense of what a great burger is. Well this place is highly rated so I thought I would give it a try, and well not blown away at all. Fried pickles were extremely salty, the fries were just your average run of the mill over salted fries, and I got the fire burger, I think I make a better burger in my backyard. I am probably in the minority, but just my feelings on the place.

How many times had I passed that little shack called Irma's before finally stopping in? More than I can tell you, but when they say that appearances can be deceiving, this is a great example of that. While it doesn't look like much from the outside, head on in, settle down at a table and get ready to realize just how much that first appearance deceived you! I LOVE that they use local Oklahoma grass fed beef for their burgers. Generally I opt for a bacon cheeseburger and the onion rings while hubby goes for a cheeseburger and fries...hey, we share well, and both the onion rings and fries are great! My daughter can't/won't eat anything but grass fed beef and this is one of the few places in town where she won't argue about going out for a burger. Love the staff too, always friendly, fast and attentive service. When we're out and about and over near Classen Curve and get hungry, our first thought is IRMA'S! Give them a try and change your whole perception!

Good burgers, fresh ingredients. We had a larger group of 8 and our server was very friendly, helpful and the food came out quickly. I had the California Burger and added an egg it was yummy & cooked perfectly. Parking is tricky because the lot is small, but its not that big of a place period.

We are from Wisconsin but come here every May for the women's college world series softball tournament. This is one of our favorite stops every year. Burgers are to die for, raised down the road in OK. I tried the Frito pie this time and it was excellent! The buttermilk pie is the bomb!! Excellent service and very helpful with the menu. The hole in the wall atmosphere makes the experience even better.

I ordered a California burger with a fried egg and onion rings to go. Everything was tasty but I wish they would have let the avocados ripen more. The advocados were so hard and chewy that I had to just throw them away which was a disappointment because I love avocados. I would still eat here again but I will definitely go with another burger next time.

I gave it a few shots. This place is such a staple that I thought, "I must have just gone on off nights." But no. Listen, I'm a fry girl, guys, and when you can braid them, they're not worth the calories. They're just not. The other sides are from cans (veggies) and the burgers ... I've never walked away from the table with anything less than an upset stomach and regret.

Passing through OKC on a vacation, and found Irma's on yelp. YUUUUMMMY!!! The burgers are amazing!!! Fresh patties that are obviously made in the restaurant. The only negative was that the burgers come al a carte. Adding the fries brought the price up a bit. But still worth it!! Atmosphere is cozy and fun.

The Burger was a 5, everything else I tried just a 2-3. I'll start with the burger since, well, its a burger joint. This is my kind of burger. I have yet to review another OKC burger joint that is only open at certain hours and frequently has long lines(its coming, dont worry, Im in catch up mode), but I am going to compare the Irmas burger to that one. That other place has a really big burger, but its not really my type of burger. Irmas was fantastic burger to me. It wasnt so big it falls apart and it wasnt so thin you cant taste the meat. I appreciated they ask you what temp you want it cooked. I like my burgers medium rare to medium and they nailed the temp perfectly. The meat had a nice texture and didnt feel like processed meat. The condiments...well, who cares? The bun was soft and fit the burger perfectly. Now, the not so great. I tried the fried pickles. Meh. A 2 at best. While the batter was actually one of the better batters Ive had on a fried object, the pickles were cut so thin that they ended up dry and had none of the briny, vinegary flavor you want. If they just cut the pickles a little thicker so they maintained some of their pickle-i-ness, they would be great. The fires were soggy and limp. Honestly, I dont really mind a a little soggy fry, but these were pretty soggy and mushy. I will chalk it up to getting them to go. If youre a crisp fry type of person, you may not like these fries. I also tried the slaw dog...it has chili, slaw and a hotdog. It was ok. I have reviewed another burger joint that I wasnt thrilled with the burger but occasionally craved the chili dog...that is what I am comparing this one to. Te slaw was acyually pretty decent, but it overwhelmed. It has a strong spice and either mustard or vinegar flavor. As a side I would love the slaw, but it overwhelmed the mild hot dog and minimal chili. I would have liked to see a little less slaw and a little more chili. I htink the flavors would have been better balanced. So, yeah, I went with a 4 because this is a burger joint and the burger was outstanding. I did have to take off a star for the pickles especially and the fries a little too. The dog...hard to judge...it wasnt my style but maybe others really love it how I got it, so I wont judge harshly on that. Im sure Ill be back for a burger from time to time though.

Nice place, but weird parking situation. Friendly staff with good service as well. The food on the other hand? Meh. Fried Pickles: 2/5 Partially my fault for not liking ranch, but I've had better fried pickles at fast food restaurants. They were SO DRY! After eating one or two I always needed a drink of water to get the feeling of sand out of my mouth. Seriously disappointing. My mouth dried up just thinking about them. Wynnewood Burger: 2/5 Maybe there was just too much going on with the burger? The no name beef, had no flavor. The hot links were okay, but still pretty meh. The chili tasted about the same you'd get from a can. There was just nothing about this burger that tells me it should be 9.00 other than the fact it's a meat extravaganza. Fries: 2/5 Um. They were potatoes? I'm kind of at a loss for words here other than I'm kind of annoyed with paying another 2.25 for the fries. Not impressed in the least. I rather go elsewhere.

The layout of Irma's is actually kind of cozy, and I enjoyed actually eating there. The service was great, as well, so that's a plus. The food: Mushroom and Swiss burger 3/5: The burgers were good and juicy, and only mildly greasy which is fine with me (as long as it's not dripping with grease). The size of my burger was just a tad over the manageable mark, so (for me) it required being cut in half. That part is more commentary than pro/con. The mushrooms were on the "meh" side, likely taken from a can and the bacon was alright. Fried okra 1/5: Nope, just not for me. I really enjoy great fried okra, but it's a hard mark to reach because it's so easy to be mediocre. Maybe if you're a huge fan of okra it would be decent. Fried pickles 4/5: The breading is good. Though, the pickles were a bit on the thin side. They had a good flavor to them, though, so the size is negligible. Overall, I personally don't think that the burgers and sides weigh equally in comparison to the pricing, but it's an alright place to go if you're already on that side of town.

This review applies to both locations. (I used to work downtown so that was the regular spot, but now it's mostly the 63rd location because our office moved.) Me and my coworkers eat here for lunch at least once every few months, the food is good, casual atmosphere, usually crowded at lunch (more so downtown). I'm not much of a red meat eater so I usually get the cobb salad, which is always good, big and very filling. Their ranch dressing tastes homemade. I've had the chicken fingers and the chili dog with mustard slaw and fries, both were very good. I've never had their hamburgers which they are supposed to be known for. It's not the cheapest place for lunch but not the most expensive either, middle of the road. Their chili is great too. This is one of only a few places whose chili I like, it's homemade, not the canned stuff. It's a good hearty chili (not to be confused with hot dog sauce) with great flavor. The staff ranges from disinterested to friendly. Service is usually adequate but not over the moon great, mostly college-aged.

This applies to the 63rd street location. I hadn't been there since 2009. Seeing that they were still in business, in the same location for that matter, says a lot about how well they run their business and treat their customers. I ordered the Irma, well done, no tomatoes with bacon ($1 extra for two slices....ouch). My best friend got the Frito chili pie and we split an appetizer of fried pickles. The total was just over $22 and we tipped $5. All in all it was worth it, but I wouldn't go every day.

Ah. Ok. A friend told me that if I liked burgers I needed to try this place. I am now trying to find a new friend... I do not recommend this place unless you like your burger on soggy bread. The first thing I noticed was the burger seemed to be a bit small, well at least the patty. The overall taste was ok, but not even close to being enough to overcome the fact the trying to eat the bun was like trying to eat a dumpling. Yep not a good combo when it comes to burgers. The chili cheese fries were tasty and the service was pretty good. Guess I must have missed what some many other seem to like about this place. Either that or some people just have really low expectations for spending 14.00 dollars on a burger and fries. I have had fast food burgers better than this. I don't see myself coming back in unless my arm is twisted.

I finally made it to Irma's after living in OKC for over 1 year. I can't believe it took us this long! This location is adorable. It really is a shack, and that's not a bad thing. You walk in and feel like you are transported back to another time. It looks like it hasn't been updated since the 60's and has old photos on the walls. Our waitress was new but was very friendly and sweet. This is a casual burger place so the service is not necessarily important but she was very attentive. The burger options are pretty typical but the taste is well worth it. We didn't have time for dessert but we saw plenty of people getting old fashioned milkshakes and homemade pie. Yum! Definitely will be going back for some of those goodies!

Best Burger this Texan has had in a very long time. Fries were delicious! Service was great! Atmosphere, great...not to loud you could talk to your dinner companion with yelling. I recommend the Bacon, Mushroom Swiss Burger! The only regret I have is not ordering one to take home!

A friend and I split one of the burgers and sides, though I can't remember which ones. I just remember that it seemed that the reviews and her excitement over this establishment were really over embellished. The burger was, well, a burger. They had a pretty cool atmosphere - pictures of Irma and her family and friends. May come back if a friend wants to go, but otherwise I'll probably keep trying other places to find my go-to burger.

I just ate the "no name ranch burger" and loaded fries. I split the fries with my wife. The burger was $9.50 after I added cheese and bacon. Not impressed. Everything was incredibly greasy, but tasted ok. You don't get fries with your burger and all the fries are $4.50 and up. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. It doesn't help that I'm lucky to have made it to a toilet in time. I figured while I'm sitting on the pot crapping myself, I would write a review of the food that caused it.

This is a pretty decent place. I wasn't overly wowed by the $7.00 a la carte burger. The extras were a la carte as well. The fries tasted good, but the small was sure small. The service was good especially considering the lunch crowd was packed in there. The ceilings were low and there were a lot of head knockers. I'll try elsewhere next time I'm in town.

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives! Thank you Guy!! This place is great! Wonderful patio, great inside seating and a menu I have been looking for in OKC! My co-worker got the slaw dog with onion rings, it had been grilled and looked fantastic. I spied a chicken fried steak and asked the million dollar question, was it egg washed? NO!!! Score! (A rare find for this allergic girl!) so I got that with fries. It came out crispy, piping hot and the hand cut fries that looked amazing! It had a great spiced batter, the cream gravy was delicous and the fries were better than they looked! I can't wait to go back and try the grilled dogs and burgers!

I like the No Name burger. Very tasty with excellent quality meat. Fries are good. Service is outstanding. Place is old but they keep it clean. I can't say it's my favorite OKC burger joint, but it's certainly in the top 10.

What a great place! Both locations are completely delicious. At the midtown place I got a black bean burger which I remember being completely indulgent and just to die for. At this location (NW 63rd), there is an outdoor wooden deck you can sit out on which is just superfly. I got the No Name Burger (what comes on the burgers? exactly what the menus say, so now you don't have to ask) with avocado and tomatoes. I was feeling like maybe I needed some beef in my diet after quite sometime. It was delicious, tasted healthy, and I got a side of green beans. You know the kind, cooked in bacon grease or something, and so smooth and delicious like what you get at bbq stands or something. Well, it was a great experience, and you get to keep the cups too. If I want a good, quality burger (which doesn't happen too often) this is the place I will go. Not that expensive either. Well, for the restaurants I usually go to. . . ;)

A burger descended from meat gods. It pushes burger boundaries with insane decadence. A burger between two grilled cheese sandwiches? Who dares cross into these uncharted waters? Irma should be named the patron saint of burgers. Call the pope and raise the lanterns for the blog-o-sphere to rejoice! Local brews in bottles with local raised beef. Behold a combination shot 8-ball corner pocket, game over. Sit down hater and eat.

Great burgers and excellent service! I really enjoyed the Firestarter with green chilles and pepper jack. The melted, shredded cheese makes the burgers a bit unique. Our waitress was wonderful. She was very friendly and went out of her way to take care of us. The service we received at Irma's was the best I've had anywhere in a long time. Four of us went to lunch at Irma's. We each got a burger and we split to side dishes (fries & rings). This was plenty of food since the sides are large enough to share. The chocolate cake was also a nice treat for dessert.

This is my go-to place for a delicious burger. I have yet to find a place that beats it. And in terms of atmosphere, it's got everything you want in a burger joint.

I'm not a burger person, per se. Having said that, the "no name" burger at Irma's is one of the best burgers I have ever had, hands down. I can't really explain what it is they do differently but the juiciness and richness of the beef is unbeatable. I've had kobe beef burgers that did not compare to the no name burger. Good work guys, kudos to you! Also: beer selection is suprisingly good, especially for OKC. Have a Rogue ale with your no name.

Had the No Name Burger with a side of fries for lunch at Irma's today. Maybe my expectations were set too high after reading these yelp reviews, but I didn't think it was out-of-this-world like the way others were raving about it. Don't get me wrong... it was good, but not OHMYGOD good. Like someone else said, sides are extra so in the end it was about $12 for burger and fries + tip. It was a little pricey. The atmosphere was nice.. very casual and laid back. The service started out well and then started to go downhill towards the end. After our table was cleared we waited about 15 minutes or so until we had to wave down another server to get our bill for us.. it wouldn't have been such a big deal except that some of the people in our party had to go back to work. So in summary: pretty good burger, nice atmosphere, slow service. If I was in the area I would come back, but I probably would not drive out of my way to get here. Ideally I would rate it somewhere between 3.5 and 4... 3.75? I guess I'm rounding up to 4.

Solid burger joint. I prefer the one on Classen Circle, but the burgers are just as good here. See the review for the second location for more excitement.

The No Name Burger could test a vegetarian's mettle. Get the loaded baked potato or some fries and a shake with it, especially if you've been having trouble sleeping. The combo induces the most powerful food coma in the city I know of. A favorite of mine is the Ahi tuna sandwich. I also recommend the chicken sandwich with avocado and green chilies. Good beer specials. Patio available for smokers. Orders to go are 10% off from 4-9 PM. Excellent friendly staff. They do a good job packing the embarrassingly heavy bags of food I order.

I love Irma's, it might be the best burger in OKC. I think its cool that the beef is local and most importantly I think it tastes really good. The sides are great, especially the onion rings and okra.

I've always found the No Name a worthy burger. The onion rings are excellent--peppered, flaky and thin (as opposed to corn mealy and thick). the parking lot is brutal, but who cares. It's an infinitely better burger than Johnnie's, which has nothing to offer but nostalgia.

More often than I care to think about, I call Irma's for a burger to go. I always order their No Name burger, which is named after the No Name ranch in souther Oklahoma, where the beef for this burger is raised. Irma's is one of the few places where you can order a rare burger, and they don't flinch. The beef is incredibly high quality - no antibiotics, hormonest, etc - and you can really taste the difference. Service is good, especially at the bar.
